Hriňovské strojárne a.s. Hriňová is an modern and integrated producer of precision gearboxes for road, construction, rail, industrial and agricultural vehicles, differentials, axles and related engineering products.  

Production in the public limited company Hriňovské strojárne builds on the long history of engineering in Hriňová, that is traditional since 1954. It is situated in the middle Slovakia, 300 km from Vienna and about 200 km from Budapest.  Since 2000, the company's systems of management and quality have been approved by the certification companies QS Cert in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 series of standards.

In the nineties passed in company conversion of military production, so nowadays production programme consists of products for the civilian sector.  Nearly 85% of our production is made for export.  Our production goes mainly to the EU. Even this fact encourages us to produce quality products, because the quality of the finished product depends on the quality of the components we produce. We are an autonomous firm, with 17 CNC centres, tens of NC and CNC lathes, CNC machines for production of gearing and various classic machines. We check our measurements using two three-axis Opton-Zeiss measuring devices. In the area of heat treatment, we use Aichelin technology to case-harden, ionto-nitride and harden products. We carry out high frequency induction hardening on four machines. We check the quality of heat treatment in our own laboratory, where we also carry out metallographic and chemical analyses of both input and heat-treated materials.
